Club Musika was founded in 2009 when Leo Herrera found a venue where members of the Vigil Gospel Choir (Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, Waitara NSW) could get together and sing or perform any music we liked.  Over time we developed a relaxed format for our members to perform to an audience with the support of other members and the quality and freshness of performances improved every time they performed.

In 2010, the Club moved to the Hornsby RSL.  The RSL has continued to support Club Musika as we perform there in the Sky Lounge every second Tuesday night.  See the RSL web site  for all of the wonderful entertainment there, including Club Musika.

Club musika Members (Leo is missing)

Our membership has broadened and we now concentrate on providing performance opportunity for local talent of high standard.

Leo is missing from this picture of the performing members but see our photo gallery page for individual photos.

Our 2012 show format is to roster three of our members as "featured artists" and invite three others, or guests (non members who have auditioned) to perform short sets.  We try to keep the show to 2 hours commencing at 8:30 pm.  We encourage dancing to our music but recently a more intimate "piano bar" look has been well received.

We also have a Facebook page on which we publish our weekly show, and we send out a regular email advertisement to enrolled supporters outlining the show and who is singing each fortnight.  See our membership page if you would like to receive these emails.  (The email has a "remove me" option.)

Club Musika is Looking for a new Venue and format
